not as hard as we thought before our first R and R cherry picker is best IMO, you will need a long pry bar or 2X4 to slide the rotor on as it will tend to catch on the concave bars, you will need a come along to pull the rotor back on the splines replace the grade 8 bolts and rubber washers in the rotor drive while you have it out, there is an upgrade if it isn't already there that is well worth installing...bolts will eventually break and washers wear out between 1500 and 2000 hours, probly shouldn't have said that because all conditions are different...but that is what happened with our 1460 and later with our 1688...the upgraded rotor drive plate is a big improvement over what they had before. good time to check out the feederhouse while you have it in a good position to work on.
