I used a 26 ga piece of galvinized sheet metal to lay in mine. I went to sheet metal shop and had a piece sheered 24"x 60". I formed it by hand and rolled it under the auger and pop riveted it down. It took about 1 hour and had to trim the flighting just in one spot. was about a 20 dollar fix....Good luck

This grain bin wear out problem, seems to be very common on Gleaner machines. Grain left in the bin and moisture gets in during the winter and rots the metal, or unloading grain simply wears the metal away. Same problem in our l2, fix putting in a piece of metal and pop rivets sounds simple, but in reality it is a b--ch to do. Mig welder used after pop riveting the patch in, is kind of dangerous, but necessary to complete the job!

I replaced mine 7 seasons ago and have had very good luck with it. I thought about welding the seems but thought if replacement was nessessary, it would make it more difficult to remove. If replacement is needed I will drill out the pop rivets and slide a new sheet in. If I had been thinking, I should had put in 1_8" poly sheet or stainless. Both would outlast the machine. Good luck
