I wish I knew what the divers mask is on a 2188 combine, but yes the unloading system is a little light. I have to replace the back unloading auger tube on both of my 2388s.
they normally refer this as the divers helmet or elbow. look to reinforce the first tube at the helmet, your dealer will give you the instructions and sell you the kit.
