I dont know if there is a better way but we give the distribution area a good cleaning, then shove in a piece of plywood or something flat and smooth over the seive and hop in with an air ratchet and pop them off, be careful on tightining them on as they are only screwed in and it is possible to strip, we turn the air down so it spins the screw back in but finish off by hand to just tight.
