We just did ours on a 1688 wasnt to tough. Take top bearing off auger remove bottom half of auger trough remove panel under ujoints. Take four bolts out of flanges on lower bearing and auger should slide out off the splines we did the ujoints also only four more bolts. Quite a few bolts a cordless impact would be sweet to remove the bolts.
