Was out looking at cornheads last week.C_H dealer in Sparta has some older style White heads retroed for C_H base units. From what i saw it didn't look like much of a job to change over and no adapter needed. Can't remember if there was a 6 row wide there or not.Had 3 or 4 units there. It might be worth a drive to check out

One of those heads in sparta was mine! I would recommend it if you dont have many acres. I had to widen the throat of the header a couple of inches and put a piece of square tubing out front of the main beam for the feeder face to sit into, it wasnt hard. If you have a 2100 series combine you will have to nip off that header step on top.

john deere corn front to 2188_2388 about a days work no alteration apart from taking the walk way from top of throat away... feeder house we didn't adjust at all for a 963 head .. we made a aadapter up which hooks on to the case throat using about 1_8 plate on top we bolted the john deere head locaters and we use the case locaters down be low to to hold it in place no other bolts required u can buy jd couplers to go straight on to the header or just use a drive shaft.. hope it helps the adapter one person can put it on in about 5 minutes
