First of all, Welcome to the Show! I just found this site recently, but have been very impressed with the helpfulness and dedication to our purposes everyone has shown on this site. Now to your return problems. This may not be the cheap fix, but in tough beans my experience has been that the "returns to cylinder" option belongs on every Gleaner. Gleaner did a severe injustice in it's order book where it advised that option only for tough to thresh wheat. I had two new R-60's without it while doing seed beans for Pioneer, and nearly wrecked a bin with wet pods that heated by the bin wall. Next was an R72 with the option, and you can combine 22% beans and not have a pod in the tank or return problems! It is a field install option as well. It will make your (and all Gleaners) a complete combine.
