Sorry I cant help but I am wondering what number loctite you use. Contrary to what many folks believe, loctite doesnt use color to identify strength. The last time I ordered loctite products the highest strength product was called Thread locker on the bottle. Maybe that has changed in the current catalog. Also, do you use loctite primer as recommended in the literatureIJ

this time i used red "heavy duty thread lock" in a small agco bottle. the blue i have used in the past is called medium duty thread lock. loctite 272 is red and needs heat to be loosened and this is what the heavy duty looks like. the bottle was made by loctite but labeled for agco.

Are threads clean and free of oil or rust when you apply loctiteIJ If not, maybe you should consider loctite primer. Also, some loctite products dont work very well unless at least 1 surface is plated. If thats the case, you need primer. Some guys use an aerosol cleaner which may not do what you need done which is to get the loctite to cure properly. I wish I had a better answer but I havent had similar problems with my feed reverser which is surprising for all the use it gets in soys.

i know a guy that forgot to tighten one of the slats on his feeder chain. he and his brother fired the N6 up and threw the seperator and feeder in gear and were standin there watchin it when all of a sudden it let out a terrible roar and out the back end flew the bar. the smarter brother walked over and picked it up and had to throw it down it was so hot.
