I'm a case man but if you are green the cts is your machine neighbors here use them rice is very hard to thrash as you probably know, the 95'sand 96's an all the previous JD's had problems with rice going out back over the walkers cts was mainly for rice that's the c- centrificle t- thashing s- system dose a better job of seperating the grain but cts's are not the best in beans but guys down here give a little to get a little hope this helps!!!!!!!!

Now a 9600 does decent with a 25 foot head, but a 22 foot stripper is the setup to beat all with. By the way, as many of you know I'm a red guy. So I'd reccomend a Massey rotary above anything else. We used our 30 foot flex to cut one field before the stripper was delivered. The sample was the cleanest I've ever seen. Better than a JD CTS or STS. And better than a 2388 too. It was as good with the 30 footer as it was with the stripper.
