The Rochelle rotor was developed by the IH dealer in Rochelle Il.Northern part of the state.This is corn_soybean country so it was developed with those crops in mind.Basically,it is just a spec. rotor with some different placement of some of the bars to trash more closely to the front.Especially in corn and perhaps high moisture corn in particular.I have also heard that it used keystock welded to the top edge of the elephant ears to reduce the cearance in the trans. cone.I have been told that the Rochelle rotor takes more power.
