Combines Rock Doors on R 52

There is an adjustment to the spring tension on the lock on the door - Just tighten enough to hold the door closed without rock hitting it. If you are having a time getting it closed, be sure that no trash is in the way before closing, and the door must be totally closed by the first door swing while you snap in the retaining part. Hope this helps.

I'll assume feed is good and shocks are installed. I would quess there is no problem with door for it is just telling you that material is not making transition to the seperator side of cage. What crop or condition were you in. I would bet your helicals and or cylinder bars are not moving the material over for the condition or crop you were in. Take a good look at helicals for there whole distance and replacement bars should be chromed. New chrome helicals will be 5_8" high. R52's would benifit some by extending second helical from gearbox over top left corner of feeder opening. When closing the rock door I prefer to use two wrenches. I hold it up with one and latch it with the other. There is also an easy close kit available for the larger machines and I believe it is for small machines too or at least it could be adapted to work. Good luck.
