This three piece kit has not been a currant kit for a few years. When it was available it came with templates and instructions. Approx mid '90s machines had holes factory installed. Three piece kit got subed to new lighter door with simple over center latch to keep sump closed. You will need to find templates and instructions from non-currant kit if you have older machine. If in area of rocks you may find someone local that has sump and you can then figure out how they did it. It's not hard to do but I wouldn't want to try do blindly on an older machine that has no predrilled holes and or templates to locate holes and properly modify side panel. I'd locate some instructions and templates or go for the currant sump kit that would have instructions. Good luck

I installed one several machines ago ahead of corn Harvest. It immediately filled with ears_trash. I don't see how that thing was supposed to work. I may have done something wrong.

There's room for rocks in there, the rotor knocks them in and it displaces the trash. Ours works well.

The tin work in the bottom of the newly made rock sump is not srong enough to take the impact of a rock. I had one rock blast through the gap in metal and end up on top of the accelerator rolls. I now intall a 1_4 plate in the bottom of the sump.
