I will be interested so see if anyone else knows any tricks to getting more capacity out of the rock trap. I have found the rocktrap to me the single most frustrating feature on the Axial-Flow machine. Do all you can to get an even feed into the feeder. In some conditions flighting extensions on your header auger may help eliminate slugging. Reel tine adjustment, header auger adjustment, feeder chain adjustment can all have a real effect on feeding. Are you running feeder drum front as far as possibleIJ Also, which sprocket are you running on the beaterIJ I forget the tooth counts on those sprockets right now, but if your not already you might try running the slower (larger) sprocket on the beater. I doubt if you'll see a significant improvement from new bars unless your old ones are worn so hard the teeth are bending back or worn down really hard. Good luck!
