Combines roll up tarp on grain cartIJ

Great addition IMHO. We bought a new cart five years ago and put a shurlock on it. That tarp is great, never caused any problems. It is like having another truck in the field, especially if weather problems surface. You can leave it loaded overnight and not worry. Even if you empty it every night, it is worth the cost to roll the tarp over and keep dew, rain, any moisture out of the cart, extends the life of everything inside. We are custom cutters and our cart has been outside every day of its life, from South louisana to Mississippi to North Dakota and the only repair in five years came this spring. We put in two pillow block bearings that hold the vertical auger. We give a lot of credit for that to the shulok and keeping the insides of the cart dry. The tarp is a minor cost of the total cost of the cart and we feel more than pays for itself over time.

Wolffman, I'll second everything that gben said in the post below. If you have a grain cart it makes no sense not to put a good tarp on it.
