Yeah that is a pretty pricey piece of tape. It cost $132.00 here. When I replaced it on both of my 2388s the parts man told me he heard they were working on something that would last a little longer, it will probably cost twice as much then.

Yes, it is a service item to be checked after initial 200 hrs and every 50 hours after that. Checked here and the price for the replacement package is $189.00 Canadian. That converts to approx $220.00 Aus $ the p_n is 87302735 from the Case-IH update_kits book I have.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like I am getting ripped off on the price here in Australia. I will have to take it up with my dealership.
