On our 2188 it also went off, I thought at first a bearing was out but I checked and even had a person stand up there and watch, but nothing was wrong. The only thing I can figure out is that the wind makes it turn slower or wobble and the alarm goes off. I ran it for the last 2 years like that. I also run John Deere combines and I wish that Case would take the air screen system and the ladder that I have on the Deeres and put it on the Case. Tim

Make sure your radiator is extra clean. I had the same probs on my 80 and there just wouldn't be enough air flow on those days to keep it turning fast enough

I don't know if this will help but I remember that my 1660 did that one time and I noticed that I had left the plug out of the drain hole. I covered hole and it stoped doing it or the wind changed direction but I think the fan was sucking up air through the hole and not turning the screen enough.

i had this happen where the screen rides inside the red part of the machine _ where dust brush is. it was packed full of dust used small screwdriver stick it into that channel and by hand turned the screen was alot of dust_chaff in there just enough that the screen wasn't turning at full speed
