Combines Rotary screen seal

Put a big hose clamp around the seal. That should work

Chewed up a clamp 1st replaced clamp,then seal tore up,May try making one out of a strip of carpet as a standby.Air_Co also conked out same time,Joys of Farming.

Is it vital to have that teflon tape on the rotary screen for the rubber seal to run onIJ

It does make the seal last much longer.But if the aera thar it rides on is real smooth, it can be run that way. but noy recomended

Slowly nutting it out,Previous owner had taken those washers out also had taken the shims out of the support bracket letting it droop slightly.Bolts would catch on the seal at about the 7.00 position.

New clamp keeps coming off,have removing screen down to fine art Have checked and trued screen again clamp will not! stay on has now come off again and shredded new seal$170aus,clamp$54aus

Try cutting a piece of carpet the same width and length as the rubber. Perferably long fibered carpet (thicker carpet). Use it in place of the rubber. This has fixed our problem.
