Jimmy you may find some of the information you are seeking by pushing the attachments button on the left..Damp straw is a problem and hard to deal with unless you are willing to shred it.. the Estes disrupters will help but only work on keystock grates which are more suited to corn bean machines..

Jimmy This last couple of years we've been running small wire concaves with every third wire removed and a spring loaded concave, this seems to work in most conditions wheat, barley and a samll amount of beans. the spring loaded concave lets you run the concave closer than you normally would in wheat and beans, this seems to help keep the concaves clear.
