In our area some people are replacing their factory ones with ones that are shorter and finding that it does`nt thump the same in tough conditions......I allways replaced them when they were worn .......but now instead of replacing them like new I`m leaving the worn ones in and they`re more like the ones that their cutting back. And I do think it takes tougher crops better when they are worn back a couple inches.

The feeding of the caseih combines is alot better in all crops with the marlin,s impeller blades (patented in canada and united states). There is alot less noise no more wraping around front rotor bearing or rock trap bearing. The dealership at elie mb.canada has almost All of thier combines equipted with the marlin,s impeller blades. They have had no complaints and none of the users have removed them. The mechanic at the dealership came up with this great idea and it works! I have talked to some of the farmers.they say they like them and being a tough wet and lots of second growth this year it really paid to put them in to the combine.they can be purchased from loewen mfg.or at a westward parts depot.
