Combines Rotor PTO Clutch

Something must still be wrong. I had mine rebuilt at the dealer this fall. They did nothing to the pump portion of the unit. They said the pump rarely gives trouble. Hopefully they didn't just put in new discs and plates. It's important to replace all the seals. One in particular is quite hidden. The mechanic said it is easy to miss. When I idle down to engage the cluth, it will chirp the belt, so it's really positive. It should pull down the engine before slipping. That reservior is small and easy to clean, so repeated flushing should not be necessary, just new oil and filter. The pump can be pressure tested and the relief valve set up from the outside, if necessary. Good luck!

If you are having a rumble or slow down I have a suggestion to look at. take out one of your grates and look at the rear vains (6 of them) I had a sound that I could not figure out and I placed my hand on the rotor cage and it was a little warm. If the vains are bent flat you need to replace them. They are not letting out the material until it gets a larger build-up and is fourced out. This also slowed me down to the speed you are talking about. Hope this helps. Jack

From what I can remember I recall seeing a bent vain. I'm gonna check that area over closer, you could very well be right.
