Unplug sensor and see what it says. Was any wiring done anywhereIJ Must of got something plugged together wrong somehow. What machine do you haveIJ Very strange problem but will make plenty of sense when you find it.

Thanks for replying, found that there was a short in the wiring and the tach was picking up the chopper rpm. Actually I didn't try it before I took the rotor out of the R50 and found the short in the console in the cab, must of happened over winter, small critters maybe. Yes it does make sense now after 2 nights after work looking for it.... Bert
