Combines Rotor speed adjustment

Are you sure its the threads, and not the belt bottoming out in the driven pulleyIJ It wont physicly bottom, but when the pulley is spread to its limit it will stop further adjustment. Also, what condition is the belt inIJ. If its older and wore a bit noarrow, it wont go to full speed either. If its been awhile since you serviced the torque sensing adjuster on the driven side it may be clogged with dirt and not allow the pulley to expand to its limit. If the belt was just replaced, I would recheck the tension, and adjust to book specs. If the installer pulled adjuster a little bit to tight side, the belt cannot travel to its limits.

Have found that when we need to make a large speed up adjustment like changing to another crop,it helps to soak the exposed adjuster threads with WD40 or diesel fuel to soften the gunk built up in the threads. This works on my old 14 series machines.

check the sliding sheave on the drive side pulleys .open pulleys to slow position and get a piece of wire with a bend on 1 end. the pulley has a recess in the inside, grease and dirt build up, this is what stops the pulleys closing .give it a good scrape out, then blow out with air.

take the chain off have someone push switch see if it cuts out motor might be bad, check stop switches too! good luck

I had the same problem, I took the adjuster motor off and cleaned dirt out of the gear mechanism and lubricated it. Helped a lot.

I know this a stab in the dark but we had to put a new chain on ours to make it work right, we were having the same problem, and the chain was seized up really bad.
