We have a 1986 8560 and just finished our harvest. We are now showing 1900 engine hours. We have rebuilt the roter once at 1700 engine hours. We are seeing that some augers are getting sharp now. We also replaced the front beater before harvest this year. I have seen some White 9700s or 9720s or MF 8590s with 6000 engine hours on them. They are starting to show sheet metal wearing thin. At 1900 engine hours the metal on our machine is in great shape. I would guess it would be cheaper to rebuild a rotor than a 750. I can give you the name of a dealer that we use and they could give you a good estimate of what cost would be. We went to a 8560 from a 550. We have no regrets.
