Combines rotory straw round baled

it can be a fun trying to bale axial flow straw espically if it has a specialty rotor don't know about sts yet i would like to know what the STS is like cause i just bought one

I do not know about the JD but with our Gleaner we have no problem round baling. I have also seen straw baled behind a IH with out problems.

On an Axial flow it leaves a windrow about 2 foot wide and 4 feet deep. A local "cowboy" thought he could bale it with a 535 John Deere Baler but he had about 5 tied bales and 20 clumps of chaff laying in the field. They had a mess the next spring trying to disk that mess under. I dont know about using other balers but the 535 Baler is the best baler ever made and it can't do it.

535 deere is a far cry from being the best baler ever made try vermeer or claas if you want the best baler for straw

Ok then. What exactly makes them betterIJ ClaasIJIJ You have to be kidding me. No one and I mean no one makes a better baler than John Deere. Straw, hay, alfalfa, millet, sudan grass, oats, oats straw I've baled them all and no one comes close to the JD. The only thing that slows a John Deere baler down in straw is the fact that in real heavy straw it catches on the tractor and balls up.

let's be honest here JD makes some good products but the hay line needs a lot of work, both with what they make and what they buy and paint green. If you want to talk about the "best" balers then talk about New Holland.

I run a CaseIH 8450 and thought about dealing on a 435 they brought a tractor and baler out for me to try. They figured it would be a easy sell untill I demoed My own baler,They were impressed on how it worked. I done alot of things with the 8450 till I got It To work good. The only thing I fault the Deere is for the auto tie, if your into heavy windrows it will bury the twine into the bale. I buy alot of bales from a 435 and they are about 200 lbs lighter than the 8450. But there is a pile of them around. I hope I will be able to bale rotary straw, if not I will have to get something else. I will keep intouch. Thanks guys.

Sometimes if the straw in the windrows behind rotaries cause you belt problems like just going in like a rope and pushing the belts to one side it can help if you run a hay-rake over the windrows and tease the straw a bit.John

I think that you have to be the most ignorant waste of space ever put on a farm. If you would back up your opinions maybe I would respect you a little more. But considering your previous posts I have concluded you are just a spiteful idiot who's kids lack any skills of driving equipment at all and you use you limited knowledge of farming to attack myself.
