I run a Round Hole Bottom sieve. Only way to go in soybeans. The chaffer lets the pods with beans still in and the Round Hole Bottom sieve really cleans up the sample. Of course there's more unthreshed pods going back through the tailings (return) elevator. I can run earlier and later in the day because the round hole sieve will let beans fall through not the pods. They only cost $425. Guy at the elevator wishes everybody used one
Silver Bullet, I tried a round hole sieve once, and I had a lot of clean beans in tailings. The proper air for the chaffer was too much for the beans to fall through the holes. What did I do wrongIJ I am interested in trying it again. Do you have any suggestionsIJ
