uh, that would be a K2 78 and later. The K2 MUST be equiped with HD lift cyls and a tie beam kit to tie the final drives together. In K2 diesels (read TORQUE) with 4 rows heads we rolled two axels w_o the beef up kit. Be careful. 2200n is limit for a K - 2900n for K2 best I can remember.

I have a late K with a 330 orange corn head and a bin extension. Is this too much weight on the machineIJ The screen material in the extension needs replacing and I am trying to decide to repair or just remove the extensionIJIJIJ

The only reason I had been considering this was because the cutter bar was not cutting very good , cutter bar was in pretty good shape but I just could not pickup any speed. I finally figured it out. The cutter was not timed to the guards. Range of motion was not complete. That is, the knifes were going through one guard, but not quite closing on the other. My younger brother some how broke the connecting rod from the knife assembly to the drive shaft and did not time the bar to the guards .If the weather breaks , I`ll be able to see if it works.... I think it will. I`m betting that it will!

I bet when i reach down and pull the unloader leaver, i can unload it!!!!!!!! Can you do that on the old 750IJIJIJIJIJIJ Sure beats an old 5 gallon bucket.
