Combines Row or flexhead for Gleaner K

Harv's Farm Supply (see attachments on the bar to the left) makes JD head to Gleaner K feederhouse adapters. A K2 with rear weights can pick up a JD 453, but if I remember, the K's hydraulics aren't quite as strong (IJ) so might have a problem. I have never seen a "real" flex head on a K2. Mine has a 10' platform with an H-C floating bar on it. I have been pondering adapting a 13' flex off an F2 onto my K2 . . . .

I have a K ser n KKS18050 that I use a John Deere 4-row all crop head on. It lifts it without any problems and works great in beans. My other K ser.n K3597 would not pick it up. I have the adapter from Harv's Farm Supply. Easy to use and works well.

Forgot to mention. Make sure you have extra weight on the back. Otherwise it gets to be a wild ride!
