Combines Rumors New Style of Axial Flow Combine coming out

My dealer told me that the new combine will be at next years Farm Progress Show. All he said was that the first machine they will bring out will be a size bigger than the 2388. Then 3 new models to replace the current 88,66, and 44 will come later.He didn`t give out any other details.

New combine will be out 2002. It will be a NH combine with single rotor. likely Iveco Engine.

Have you seen this unit working in your areaIJ

Hopefully its a better engine than the cummins

I find it hard to believe a NH new combine will be single rotor.

Have not one seen yet, however I have friend who is an emp. with CNH who indicated the spy photos are accurate. Supposedly about 10-12 prototypes working. Case will have 1 rotor, NH will have 2. Otherwise nearly identical. The prototypes currently have Iveco in NH and Cummins in Case, however that could change.

I think your comments are right on being accurate.

our dealer told us that there is going to be one new one that is two sizes bigger than 2388 and they are doing away with the 44. they said the new one will have a 16 row head and can shell corn at 7 mph.
