Combines Rust in wheat

I have walked every field getting ready for the field inspectors. (certification) Only the Overley has any flag leaves at all. The leaves on the Jagalene disappeared very quickly from rust or powdery mildew.

We are in SC Kansas, seeing about the same. Rust is going to be a huge problem this year.

My Overly is also retaining healthy flag leaves and looks good. Jagger and Jagalene were great wheats, but after this I (and many others) will be saving the Overly for next year.

I heard so much last fall about potential damage from Hessian fly. Are you seeing any of this damage nowIJ
