Tom, You should have no problem at all with the S36 final drive. I have only had two final drives apart in the last 25 yrs.. One was on a M3 that had a chipped bull gear from factory and was covered under warranty. The other was on an R62 that had a clicking sound in final drive. After disassembly,found a tapered bearing roller that had gone soft. If you are ever in a salvage yard this is one item that will rarely be missing from the machine unlike some of the other colors.
