Sounds like you're very impressed!! Just one thing, when it does break down, you're never going to get any support from Claas. Oh well. Just another lexion broke down in the field. As if that isn't something we have all seen before!!!

Redpower, Yes I am well aware that Claas has some product support problems in the states but I have been assured that they are trying very hard to sort them out. Here in Europe, especially the U.K. Claas product support and reliability is the best in the country, that is why they sell 3 times more combines than their nearest competitor!!! Scan down this board to 01_02_03 and read a post by YORKSHIREBOY,he states that a lexion 480 harvested 740 tonnes of wheat in 12 hours including coping with 3.75tonne_acre of straw in England recently.Remember that the 480 was introduced in 1996, name me a JD,NH,MF,CASE or GlEANER that had this performance back thenIJ!!! To Onlooker, I will post pics on farmphoto.com when I get a chance and will post to let guy's know.

What support problem is Claas having in the statesIJ I haven't had a single bit of trouble when it comes to the support I receive from my Cat dealer and the support they receive from Claas. Claas parts support is a far cry better than when Cat was trying to do ag parts. And the folks that i've met from the plant (shows and training) know a heck of alot about combines (their own and their competitors). Of all the lexion owners i've associated with only the occasional visitor(s) to this site is_are the ones with any complaints and I have to question their problems heavily because they are unlike any lexion problem I know of. Not once has machine durability been a question nor has machine performance been questioned, with mine or any other lexion owner I know. They are just as well built a machine as any you'll find and in some areas much better. Support is excellent or else the Cat dealers wouldn't mess with them. Cat dealers entire foundation is their support and they certainly wouldn't align with any company that might compromise it.

So you are saying they finally have their grate problems sorted outIJ They now do not run corn out the back endIJ To say there were no problems is to be less than truthful - I'm sure that you can go back to last falls post on this list and learn a little.
