Staying in the ag industry and designing and building your own stuff is one thing. Slappin' your colors and name on the side on some other company's equipment are two different things.
Is that why ur deere company has and gotten caught a few times copying or infringing on other companys that spent that time and money on designing and building their own stuff. Atleast Cat does it the legal and proper way and gives credit to the ones that they "slap their colors and name on the side of" And doesn't that just show that it is worthy of the cat name. Cat doesn't just slap its name on horse crap. They do investage the quality and workmanship in their products.
I forgot to ask who use to make deeres balers for many years. Who was "slappin' their colors and name on the side on some other company's eq." Who is makin Cat's balers and hay eq. now. This is all part of game of marketing. Every company does it if u look hard enough. look at Case and New Holland now. Does it make it any less of a machine becuase someone else made it.
I think the long haul is now a deadhead. Too bad, might have had some competition for deere if cat had gotten some dealers on board but no, as usual they elected to do what would damage them the most.
