Combines school project

Just my idea. I would start with the way grain was harvested years ago. Starting with a hand scythe, gathering the cut grain and stalks. Running the material thru the thresher. Seperating the grain. grain going to the sacks and then the sack sewers sewing them. one word, Combine! Show them the difference between yesterday and today. I think I have a cut-away drawing of the new Deere's and how the salesmen say they work! If I can help more let me know Bob One word

The Deere brochures usually have a color centerfold that has a cutaway view that shows the inner workings of the combine. You might want to check with your Deere dealer, I seem to recall seeing a poster sized version of this cutaway diagram at a field demonstration I went to soon after the 9000 series came out.

i think you could use the above site that was listed about the 9780 deere combine ! it looks like it has pics and lots of information ! hope he does well on the project !
