Combines Self leveling Shoe

It may cost more, but you get so much more machine with a machine leveler it is not an issue. Easy on the machine to keep balanced, can fill the grain tank brim full and not spill ever, easy on the operator most of all. Once you drive one it becomes obvious. gs

That's what I noticed with my lexion 485. There are areas in a couple of my fields that I would harvest through with my Deere and grain would settle to the low side and pur out the back (20+ kernals psf) in the hills and valleys. With the lexion 3D cleaning system, maybe 5 kernals psf. It is less stress on the operator who would normally be trying to compensate for changing terrain to reduce his losses without a slope compensating system.

It would be nice if Deere offered something better than their removable chaffer corner inserts, but less complex than a complete sidehill leveling system. Maybe they will finally offer the lateral shoe distributor system that was included in the Bi-Rotor patents that they bought over ten years ago. I have to agree with Rooster, the lexion 3D slope compensating shoe with it's uphill tossing action is probably the best system out there right now and it fits the needs of most farmers with some rolling ground.
