this is tuff and requires close inspection, remove clutch assy. and put on workbench and screw in nut to relieve pressure and snap in by hand. Then with snapped in start turning nut out and see what happens or binds up. As you get to where you can't turn with snapped in unsnap and turn out one click and resnap by hand. If there is any mechanical reason not to snap in this will show it up.
