Combines Seperator wire removalIJ

On our 98R62 we removed the wires from the front. We got inside the bin, there we could drop it down just enough to get the wires out. We used a power pull to let it down and pull it back up when finished. Some wires pulled out very easy but others needed help getting srarted from the back, it took two of us to do it. The only trouble we had was we had to pry sideways to allow bushings to be taken out at the front. This was the way we did it. We do not always do things the easy way though.

Well, I guess we did it a harder way---out the back side. We had to torch the welds off the angle iron piece on top of the grate so's the wires would slide out. We took the adjusting eye bolts loose and let the back pivot down a bit and used a bottle jack to raise it back in place after spotting the angle piece on again. I've got one more to tackle but it's a '95 model with no weld to cut off just the cage cover to remove. I hope this helps us in small cob corn which plugs the seperator grate.
