Try your rotor in the mid 500's. Not sure on your screen spacing so I can't say on wind settings. I was running around 1050-1100. Concave was .5 or thereabouts. My gearbox was in the middle spot. I haven't had to change it for wheat or milo. Thats all we've cut so far. We run a 35' head also. What concave wire spacing do you haveIJ There's a wire kit that you can install that'll change up the wire spacing and really help in wheat. Fuel usage should be 16-18 gph. You're making it work too hard so its using more fuel than it should. About the max it should use ever is 21-22.

I should say that mine is a 9895. Not that it matters. I just think red looks better!!

Yes it matters riceman, that silver makes everything right to me............lOl How is things down there,I am going to cut beans tomorrow. Have any tricks or have you cut any soybeans with it yetIJ IG

I haven't cut anything but wheat and milo so far. Our earliest beans might be ready in 2 weeks. Keep me posted on what you find out when you start cutting. We're mostly red here so the Massey's just fit right in and feel at home! I'd hate to hear what the neighbors said if I brought a silver one home.. not that I really care what they say anyway.
