Combines setting up 9560 for corn

We have found that the rotor needs to be spun faster than what the manual says. Fan turned up as fast as possible. Are your spacers in above the concaveIJ There should be some spacers between the concave and the top cover, effectively lowering the concave on the left side only. This will eliminate the small cob pieces in your tank. Pull your left side separator covers off, spacers are in corrrectly when they are between the cover and concave. They used to ship from Moline concave against the cover, with the spacers above the cover. Book settings are good place to start on the chaffer and sieve. A few power shutdowns will help getting the fine tuning done. We always seem to run a bit more returns than what we were used to on the walker machines. hth, Hank

I think the 9500 and 9560 both do a fine job in cutting wheat, we ran both machines this past spring. If you want to save fuel, then use the 9500, the 9560 loves fuel. we use 18 foot grain heads on both, too many small patches around here.
