Combines Setting

I'm assuming this is on your 820 headIJ Be sure that the sensor's are mounted so that they move the right way when the head moves, on our's I had to mount on of them upside down. Also you can use an ohm meter to adjust the sensor's so they are set the same on each side (adjust the linkage until both sides pull the same resistance). They can be a little bit of a pain to get set but once you do you will love it.

Yup, this is on the 820. I've done what you said and the thing seems to work but it just seems to sensitive even with the knob turned to the low setting. There is a screw in the field tracker box that looks like it adjusts something but I've been afraid to play with it without knowing what it does. Dean

The screw is response adjusting screw. This is from operators manual Turn the response adjustment screw clockwise to increase response Turn the screw counterclockwise to decrease response.Note:Initial setting for response adjustment screw from factory is at 1_4 turn clockwise from the counterclockwise stop.I bought a 1680 with field tracker this spring ,so I am learning also.I would get a manual from your dealer the partn is 9-1430S1 It is only a 16 page manual, should not cost much.
