Overloading the sieve on right side is likely a result of the excessive

Your 3rd concave should have every wire in it. The reason they are removed is for corn combining. I believe Barley is easy to thresh out. It weighs 48 lbs a bushel so it is easy to clean. If you are getting all the grain out of the heads you can slow down the rotor 20-40 RPMs. and check again. Do you have slotted grated or key-stock gratesIJ Feel free to ask more questions. Jack

Thanks to everyone for the information supplied I have checked concaves for sharp corners and height of crossbars, and added wires to third concave however I haven't been able to try anything yet as it has rained 2 days in a row since I tried cutting should be able to cut tomorrow afternoon. JeffR
