Combines shaker arm bushings

I hear ya. We updated the 1680 to the cast supports last year during harvest. I can recommend that kit, it is quite an improvement, but something you would rather do in the winter.

Yep, I put that kit on last winter too. I also like to put in a new shaker shaft and left cam whenever I find any slack on the left cam. It helps reduce the stress on the entire shaker system by keeping both sides in perfect time with each other. The other thing to do to increase the lifespan of the bushings is to move the shaker to the neutral position every time you shut down. Especially if the machine will be sitting for a while.

Deadeye, what is happening to your feeder chainIJ Your clutch may need to be taken apart and cleaned, then adjusted proper.
