look under the stone door, there is a panel in the front of the distribution auger that can get warped and leak just as you describe. Remove it, straighten it, add silicone and reinstall if it is where the leakage is .

We just experienced a similair situation on our l2.I had done the mod on the chaffer and opened the front 8 or so rows wide open.We were noticing one of the air passages from the fan was always full of shelled corn and chaff. We would clean it out and it would fill back up again. We were losing alot of air flow at the front of chaffer and losing alot of corn running out the sides in front of the shoe by the inspection holes. We may have fixed it for good last nite.We removed the chaffer and totally covered the very first row.We cleaned out the airway and put it back together. For some reason the corn was coming off of the pan and falling down through the front of the chaffer(along with alot of chaff)plugging the air flow. For some reason that front row of the chaffer was in front of the opening of the airway.Anyway, after running last nite I did'nt notice any chaff looking through the inspection holes.

Thanks alot. It was the very exact problem you described. Bent it straight and reinstalled it. Works great, clean sample. Thanks again.

on the older combines, there is a canvas hanging down from the top inside above the straw walkers, check for worn out or torn or missing canvas, replace that if needed, for some reason this has something to do with the air flow inside the combine, mine was torn but still intact, i replaced it and the same problem you are having i was having, this fixed it. dunno howIJIJIJIJ but i was told by an older ac mechanic about this...it worked!
