Don't worry Doug for you'll know it if it breaks. I had a couple of the first prototypes come loose and it lets you know. Come to think of it you should replace the 7_16 small OD flatwashers that are on Gleaners field installed shocks kits with large OD 7_16 flatwashers. Same holds true for the factory installed shock kits. The large OD flatwasher will prevent the shock from ever sliping off of the rubber. Yes I had a couple fail that way and that is just like the weld breaking loose. Not that it matters to you but it is much easier to get at the inside one on the R62-72. Have a good one.

What you meant to say is "this is one of the best kits Dan of Hurtt Eqpt ever made, that Gleaner was humble enough to take and offer to all Gleaner owners". I don't know of any other OEM that does this kind of thing. What the other OEM's do is wait a few years and then copy what the aftermarketers have been supplying for years(ideas given to them by farmers and custom operators)and then announce it as their idea. CASEIHC especially famous for this(three chain feeder chain for example). Dan also supplies this kit to the early models that Gleaner doesn't supply. Hats off to Gleaner management!
