I had a shoe extension on my G. It bolted onto the rear of the shaker shoe. If I remember, the top sieve remained the same and the extension ( 8 or 10 inches worth) allowed more grain to be saved that may have went over the top. Everything that it caught went through thr return which is better than loosing it. It did create more capacity. Steve
