My Grandfather bought in 1982 a new "Golden Harvest Edition" Series III N5. Was first rotary to come into Northwest Tenn area. Have to admit was a wonderful combine for the first 7 or 8 years. After that point the combine literally started falling apart and was dollaring us to death. Biggest problem (and most expensive and most headache) was the Main clutchshaft(shaft which runs hydro and separator). In two years broke one shaft and spun the bearings twice. After that traded combine in 1994 on R52 with the shaft down. That combine only had 1500 sep hours. Not to scare you just some of my experiences.
