Combines Should I convert my 644 to 844 or look for a 844IJ

we converted one to 8 row 30" a few years ago now we brought a good second hand 4 row and done the rest i cheated by buying a brand new 8 row auger allowing me to built the rest around it the shafts going through the gear boxs i put couplers in between each gear box so we didn't have to pull shafts to get gearboxs out...added hydraulic deck plates and were away...head still going now but not with us now running 900 series good luck

I would look for an 844 auger. You might even find a frame in a salvage yard somewhere. Everything would be straight that way.
