Auction Show Pigs

It's common for livestock to be sold at auctions, but have you all ever heard of people who sell breeding pigs or show pigs at auctions? I heard about a couple who raises pigs to be shown. They mostly sell to those in 4-H and FFA. This seems like a unique way to make money on the farm. I'm not sure it's for me, but it was interesting to learn about.

Some people call it a niche market. Like breeding dogs or horses for show. I personally don't get the attraction, but enough people do to make it a "thing".
