reo, sold a few of the shredder grates, all have worked very good, have to make sure the blades are installed correctly on the grate, the flat edge of the section has to be against the metal of the grate so it will cut. The notched bars will not cause any more wrapping. I've been installing the grate in the middle position with good results. Also make sure your vanes are good so the crop will keep moving.
