I am assuming you are talking about the wobble box drive beltIJ If so I had a similar problem with mine. I found the u-bolt that acts as a guide_protector was out of adjustment causing wear on the belt. check this and make sure the pully's are all in line with each other as well. take a good look at the belt and see if excessive wear on one side or the other is telling you anything.good luck.

If everything is in line and the belt is developing cracks from the inner radius of the belt to the outer backing before breaking, a heavy flywheel on the wobble box pulley may fix your problems. Belt breaks of this nature are caused by rapid belt vibration which in turn are created by the rapid changes in wobble box rpm's due to heavy oscillating knife loads. See Hyper Mods _ Misc Rotary Mods _ Heddy's Hyper Mods. The heavy flywheel smooths out the wobble box drive and in our experience gives about 4 or 5 times the belt life as well as much better knife performance and life. Hope this helps.

Are your guards wornIJ Dull guards and_or sickle sections will put a strain on the belt.

Check your wobble box, if its not running smooth it will break sickles. It may need to be rebuilt and new bearings installed
