Mr.Fever The super chaffer upgrade consists of cutting the first six or eight rows of chaffer teeth loose and attaching a third control handle.Most hyper harvest'ers run the front rows 1_8th -1_4 inch further open and then are able to run the middle section a bit tighter for a cleaner sample with more capacity.The air blast is intense at the front of the chaffer and one can run the first few rows a little wider with out adding cobbs or trash to the sample.Helps on sidehills also,we run six rows cut.On the long shoe P3 machines the first few rows have dead air so one would want to make sure that the rows cut loose are behind these in the live air.
